In 1878, the Sisters of Loretto had no way to access the choir loft in their newly-built chapel. When carpenters and architects told them it would be impossible to build a structure to get them to the loft, the sisters prayed a novena to Saint Joseph, asking for his help to solve the impossible. What happened next was nothing short of miraculous—and continues to draw pilgrims from around the world to Santa Fe!
