Conversation with Christ: The Teachings of St. Teresa of Avila about Personal Prayer

Prayer is often misunderstood as a complex ritual, but for St. Teresa of Avila, it was something far more beautiful: a simple, intimate conversation between friends. In Conversation with Christ, Fr. Peter Thomas Rohrbach summarizes the "Doctor of Prayer’s" masterful approach to mental prayer, making her profound mystical insights accessible for the modern layperson. This guide strips away the intimidation factor of contemplative prayer, showing how any soul can enter into a heartfelt dialogue with Our Lord rooted in charity, humility, and submission to the Gospel.
